Please read the following information on the application process:

  1. We have an extensive waiting list for many instruments and therefore may not be able to offer place immediate. For administrative reasons, WE WILL ONLY CONTACT YOU TO OFFER YOU A PLACE.
  2. Please fill out the time availability section as completely as possible – the more available you are, the easier it is to find you a teacher.
  3. Students who enrol for instrumental lessons are also expected to attend Musicianship / Theory of Music classes. There is no extra charge for these lessons, which form a vital part of a musician’s development.

Pianos and Keyboards

We feel we should point out the distinction between pianos and keyboards to parents and students before they apply.

We expect our piano students to have pianos and do not recommend learning piano on a keyboard (i.e. piano instruments powered by electricity). We have a limited amount of classes available for students with keyboards. It is important to specify exactly whether piano or keyboard lessons are being applied for. This is to prevent any misunderstanding when the student is called for interview prior to the first lesson.

If you have any queries concerning the enrolment or tution process, please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions or alternatively contact:
