Hello and welcome to KCK Radio! KCK Radio is a student run online radio station project by the secondary students of Kylemore College, Ballyfermot, Dublin. Students involved produce all the podcasts for the station so it reflects what's going on in their school and local community. It is completely composed of student volunteers, with the help of Project Co-ordinator, Mr. Kelly. Since its launch in late 2007, KCK Radio has had over 2200 podcast downloads since then! Our programmes have also been broadcast on Dublin South FM, Near FM, Liffey Sound FM and WDAR FM. Our aim is to provide students with the opportunity to plan, write, record and edit their own radio show. Therefore, offering students interested in pursuing a career in broadcasting a space to get hands on experience.

KCK PhotoKCK Radio strives to offer unique programming while providing a service that is both educational and entertaining to students, staff and the wider community. Our inclusive programming connects diverse voices with numerous interviews and vox pop’s. Programmes are mainly focused on student issues, internal school projects and topical news stories. Topics covered include sports, culture, art, science, ecology, society, and politics. The music is very varied, covering various genres and interests!

We have some really exciting shows planned over the coming academic year, so be sure to bookmark this page for future reference. We also have plans to develop the website over time including the exciting possibility of live streaming.
