Kylemore College provides opportunities for our students to engage with adventure sports to include canoeing, rock climbing, hill walking, caving and bouldering. We use the Outdoor Education programme and adventure experiences as a medium for students to enhance their personal development. Our programmes introduce our students to difficult and challenging situations and help them to develop skills such as responsibility, teamwork and trust. Each class group will have the opportunity to engage in an annual school hike. We are very lucky to own two school minibuses to facilitate transporting students to and from activities.
All classrooms are teacher-based with very good ICT infrastructure. Teachers use technology effectively to ensure high level student engagement in all lessons. We have two specialist ICT rooms and iPads available for student use. Students are invited to attend our computer club which meets at lunchtime.
